Here are 7 awesome 100th day project ideas for your homeschoolers!

  1. Write 100 with donuts– Why not start the day with a nice little breakfast treat at your local donut shop? Have your children pick out their combination of donuts that will write out the number 100. This is something that my children absolutely enjoyed!
  2. Create a 100 day hat– There’s something about a party hat that makes any kind of celebration extra fun! Have your children cut out and decorate their very own 100th day of homeschool party hat and wear it throughout the day. I’ve created a free printable hat that you are welcomed to download here to use in your celebration.
  3. Pom-Pom Gum balls– In my home we just bought a few pom-pom packs from the Walmart, I drew a big circle that was the “gum ball machine glass” and my kids both had a blast glueing their 100 pom-poms to their gum ball machines
  4. 100 piece Lego challenge– Do you have a Lego obsessed family like I do? Then gather the family up for a 100 piece Lego building challenge. Pretend that you are a contestant in the Lego Masters show and simply have the kids count out their 100 Lego pieces that they will use for their creation and let the creativity take over.
  5. 100 workout challenge- This is a great way to get your kids moving! Have them do 10 sets of different exercises that add up to 100, or any other combination that totals 100. Let them choose the exercises they want to do too!
  6. Complete a 100 piece jigsaw puzzle – If you have multiple children, they can work together on one puzzle based on their abilities, or each child can complete their own. Have a competitive bunch? Turn it into a friendly competition!
  7. Scavenger hunt- I haven’t done this yet, but I am planning to for our celebration this year! I got this idea from my son’s 8th birthday, when we did a scavenger hunt around the house. It was such a blast! This year, I’m planning on having a list of 100 items that can be found throughout the house and have the kids find them. At the end they’ll win a little prize to remember this 100th day of homeschool ๐Ÿค—

In our homeschool we celebrated for the entire day! We put our curriculum to the side and did a variety of activities throughout the day that went along with the 100th day of homeschool theme. You can either choose to do an entire day of celebration, choose to only do a few activities, or just one special thing.
