Easy Puerto Rican Cream of Rice (gluten free)

Equipment

  • 1 Pot
  • measuring cups

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp cream of rice
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar you can use more or less to taste
  • dab vanilla extract
  • dash salt
  • Sprinkle cinnamon to taste

Instructions

  • In the pot combine well the milk, cream of wheat, brown sugar, vanilla extract, dash of salt and cinnamon.
  • Turn heat up to a medium.
  • Mix constantly. Ones it starts bubbling turn heat to a medium low.
  • Continue mixing until it thickens up to your desired consistency. Approx 3 minutes.
  • Once done, serve in a bowl and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
  • Let cool for a couple of minutes and then enjoy!
