Taco Soup Slow Cooker Recipe

1 slow cooker
or Inatant Pot using Slow cooker mode.
1 mixing spoon
Ingredients
1
lbs
lean ground meat
1
can
corn
drained
1
can
chili beans
1
can
black beans
1
can
diced tomatoes
1 can
8 oz
tomato sauce
1
packet
taco seasoning
1
diced
onion
2
tbs
sofrito
1/4
cup
fresh cilantro
2
cloves
minced garlic
1/2-1
tsp
Adobo to taste
1/2
cup
water
Instructions
Add ground meat, sofrito, Adobo and onion into a pan and cook until meat is browned. If using Instant Pot, brown the meat on Saute mode.
Add the browned meat into the slow cooker. If using Instant Pot simply cancel Saute mode.
Add all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker or Instant Pot and mix everything very well.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours. If using Instant Pot, place on Slow Cooker Mode for 4-6 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you would like your taco soup to be spicy try adding some hot peppers or chili powder.
Feel free to add sweet peppers if your family likes them.
Top with sour cream, cheese, or avocado.
Serve with a side of white rice or tortilla chips.
Store left overs in the fridge for up to 3 days.
